Established in 2004

A.D. Farm was started in the summer of 2004, by Alex and Kathy Davis. Kathy grew up on the much larger Wolverine Farm, started by her grandparents back in the 50's and located in the fertile Matanuska Valley in Palmer, Alaska. We now farm a small portion of those original tracts of land.

We started by direct marketing organically grown vegetables, and in 2007 we added pasture raised pigs to our farm. As our children grew older (and wanted to earn more money for themselves), we expanded our livestock operation. Our oldest has 100 of her own laying hens, turkeys, ducks, geese, and guinea hens. Our next two children run the rabbit operation. Our youngest has quail and helps take care of our 300 laying hens. We are a big family that pitches in and helps each other, so you can have some of the best and freshest produce, pork, and eggs.

In keeping with organic growing practices, we use no pesticides, herbicides, or synthetic fertilizers in our vegetable production. Our livestock are all fed fresh barley fodder. Other than the quail, none of our animals are fed corn or soy.
